A full day of canyoning through an incredible gorge in a fairy-tale setting.

Canyoning is one of the most popular adventure sports in the province of Huesca. La Peonera is located in the Sierra and Canyons of Guara Natural Park and is one of the most fun and accessible canyons for the public. It is considered a Level I canyon, ideal for people with no experience who want to get started in this activity.

Details

The activity lasts about 4 hours. It includes jumps into natural pools, natural slides, small rappels, and as the highlight, the famous Bierge Dam Jump.
The adventure begins with a short approach hike to the river, near the village of Bierge. The canyon is divided into two sections.
We start in a narrow section called Los Fornazos, where we enjoy descending through crystal-clear waters. Then we reach the Puntillo spring, a more open area where we stop for lunch, by the riverside near the Tamara spring.
Afterwards, we continue through another narrow gorge that leads us to the well-known Bierge Dam Jump.

It is recommended to bring: swimsuit, towel, sports shoes, and a change of clothes.
