Details

Ice climbing is a sport that consists of ascending frozen formations on mountains or ice waterfalls. Practicing it requires the use of specific equipment that allows the climber to progress on icy terrain. Clinics are informal and educational demonstrations of a particular discipline, where the instructors present from their specialty and specific techniques, sharing their experience, usually in front of a small audience.

The price of this activity includes: personal technical equipment for the activity, including high mountain boots (helmet, harness, ice axes, crampons) and shared equipment such as ropes, carabiners, ice screws, etc., civil liability and accident insurance, a high mountain guide, and transportation.

Approximate duration

A session for a first contact and introduction to ice climbing lasts between 4 and 6 hours.

Level

Medium-high difficulty. Caution and experience are essential when practicing this activity, so participants should have some prior experience in the mountains or climbing in order to benefit from this clinic.
