Another way to enjoy your vacation is by appreciating geology, an activity that is increasingly popular among visitors to the beautiful Sobrarbe region.
The uniqueness of our landscape led to the creation of the Sobrarbe Geopark (UNESCO-recognized). Thanks to their academic work, our guides hold the certificate of ?Geological Heritage Guides of the Sobrarbe Region.?
Various routes are available within the Sobrarbe Geopark area, allowing you to learn while discovering the secrets behind the current shaping of our territory. The itineraries range from urban walks, such as the geological surroundings of the village of L?Aínsa, to excursions through the most emblematic valleys, including Ordesa, Pineta, Añisclo, and even exploring the mysteries of the formation of the wonderful Ibón de Plan (Basa de la Mora).
There are more than thirty prepared routes to choose the one you like best.

From two hours for the urban route in L’Aínsa, to full-day excursions.
Activity details
Required equipment:Clothing and footwear suitable for the activity. We also recommend bringing a notebook and pencil for taking notes and making simple drawings, which will help better understand the explanations and will always serve as a pleasant souvenir of our geological adventure.
Season: All year round, weather permitting.
Age/Conditions:Minimum physical condition required for longer routes. Suitable for all audiences.
